I am glad!
The sympa@...edu email did not seem to be working for us.

My colleague (Ccd) and I have been using Cleaver2 for a few months on a breast cancer project.
We are actually using both the embedded 3DSlicer module and the command line.

We want to get some clarifications on a few input parameters.
  • Volume sampling rate: Can this number be described as the number of tetrahedrons per voxel? Hence, if we have a value of 1, then there is a single tetrahedron per voxel? If that is the case, would a value of 2 perfectly describe the tetrahedron but result and a very fine mesh?
  • Feature scaling: Is this value essentially the smallest feature length? For instance, if we have a tissue layer that is only 2 mm thick, would using a value of 2 preserve this feature?
For the most part we have been striking a balance between these two parameters, while trying to get an efficient mesh (200-300K tets).
We are having issues with holes across thin tissue layers, hence my question on the feature scaling.
