Thanks for the report Alark,

this it will be fixed in the final release of ImageVis3D 1.0 (which will be release tomorrow). It seems that only the installer is affected not the actual ImageVis3D program it is trying to install, so you can either wait until tomorrow for the final 1.0 release or download the latest ZIP file here: http://software.sci.utah.edu/devbuilds/imagevis3d/

@ Tom: I was able to reproduce the issue on the Windows XP 32bit VM on geronimo as well, that should give you a testmachine to doublecheck the fix.

and on trying to install it on 32-bit Vista, I found that even the
32-bit version gave the following error

"This program can only be installed on versions of Windows designed
for the following processor architectures: x64"

Please let me know if you have any thoughts/suggestions.
