Hey Henri,
I wasn't able to recreate this issue using the latest devbuild. This issue
has likely been solved and you can try out the latest mac devbuild here:
http://ci.sci.utah.edu:8011/devbuilds/ImageVis3D-Darwin-10.7.5-x86_64-3.1.0-r2138_2510_275_2007-release.dmg
