Excellent!! That must mean the mailing list is working properly. Glad to hear it!

.. but if this was a veiled request for information on how to get off the list, I should mention that all mailing lists include a (normally hidden) "List-Unsubscribe" header that tells you how to get off that specific list. You just need to instruct your mail client to display these headers.
In this case, the headers would tell you that you need to send a mail to sympa@sci.utah.edu with the subject "unsubscribe iv3d-users".
