I noticed that the BeamShadows algorithm has been very much neglected in the current version of Manta. Most of the code has been ifdef'ed out. Is there any interest in seeing it resurrected? I'm not even sure what code paths are working or broken (aside from the syntax changes).

Andrew, this is your code from way back when. Do you remember? Also, are you on the manta@sci mailing list?
