Pointers to the UI shouldn't need to be transmitted anywhere. They
are created and owned by the application, which also owns and drives
the Manta engine. If a driving program (bin/manta) has a pointer to a
UI and then decides to lose track of the pointer, it isn't a problem
with the Manta API, it's a problem with the driving program.
