A few people have gotten manta working on widows in the past, but it's not really supported by anyone working on it currently and would likely be quite a bit of trouble to get working. Thiago fixed the latest version for Lion I believe with the last update.

We don't include the manta plugin on Microsoft Windows because Manta
itself (at least the backdated version that we use) doesn't build
there.
More recent versions of Manta build there, but we found problems with
it (in all platforms) when last we tried to upgrade.

Hi All,

I'm trying to run Paraview and use the Manta view. As far as I can gather
from the Paraview website, version 3.12.0 should come with the Manta plugin
but I cannot see the plugin when I open the plugin manager. I tried building
Manta from source (using Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7, 64 bit) but I get
a ton of compilation and linker errors.

Could someone provide some info about how to get Manta running with Paraview
on Windows 7.

Many thanks,

Dan
