Hello, Please contribute any images, screenshots, or video of your research in which you use Seg3D, ShapeWorks, ImageVis3D, SCIRun, BioMesh3D, map3D, Vistrails, Fluorender, and the MRL Toolset to view, process, visualize, or render the data you work with. We're working on a full-length documentary movie centered around scientific computing, highlighting the significance of simulation in research to bring about real-life success stories. Our goal in this research phase is to find stories with "happy endings" in that they have significant, and tangible results or promise of such. Our focus for this larger-scale project hinges on blending engaging, emotional, human stories with complex technological and scientific information. This project presents a great opportunity for a team to showcase their research and bring the societal importance of computational models to the screen. It's a tall order, but if you know of any individuals/teams/projects that you think might be ideal subjects for this film, please let us know. Our greatest hope is to personify the societal impact of supercomputing and broadcast the diverse benefits of computational modeling and scientific visualization to a wide and diverse audience. Please provide as much detail about the people involved with the data acquisition, sources, visualization, modeling, or simulation software used, background story, and conclusions the scientific community can draw from what we are seeing. Thanks for your support!
