Hi,

   We aren't 100% sure what the problem with Mandrake 10.0 might be as
we don't officially support this version of Linux.  However, based on
educated guesses we think it may have to do with a problem with the
way errno is defined under newer Linuxes.  Have you looked through the
error window at the top right of the SCIRun Network Editor window for
any error messages?  Do you see any "undefined symbol" errors?  (If
you could reply directly to me with this information, it would help us
localize the error.)

   There are a couple of ways to fix this problem (assuming this is 
really the problem.)  1) We plan to release SCIRun version 1.22 in
mid-May.  We will be updating the SCIRun Thirdparty to alleviate the
errno problem.   2) If you don't want to wait, then we suggest using a
source installation of SCIRun 1.20.

   Please note that we will not be officially supporting Mandrake 10.0
in the SCIRun 1.22 release.  However, we are happy to try and work
with users to make sure that SCIRun works on Mandrake 10.0.
