Eduardo,
The Viewer Module will display a 3D axis in the upper-right corner
of its UI window indicating the current orientation of the coordinate
system. It is color coded Red, Green, Blue for the three cardinal
directions X, Y, and Z, respectively. The brighter arrows point towards
the positive direction, while the darker ones point in the negative
direction.
By showing the UTAH-TORSO mesh via a FieldReader->ShowField->Viewer
network I can deduce that +X(bright red) points to the torso's left
side, +Y(bright green) points towards the torso's back, and +Z (bright
blue) points in the direction of the torso's head.

Hey there,
what is the oritentation of the coordinate system in SCIRun? If we
take the UTAH-TORSO as an example, in what direction is the
X-coordinate, Y-coordinate and Z-coordinate? Is the X-Coordinate the
one pointing to the head?
Thank you!
Eduardo Morales
