They are not backwards compatable because there is no way for the 1.24
build to know what changes have been made when the version numbers were
created, and the logic to build lower numbered versions is not built
into SCIRun.

However the text output fields were not changed with the version bump.
It may or may not work to simply edit the text file and change the
version number from 2 to 1.  Whether it works or not will depend upon
the specific objects in the file and whether or not they had their
individual version numbers incremented (few have).  For reference the
version number to change is the number on the third line.

I have a converter here that will write out backwards compatable files,
but it is a 1.25 utility so you would have to be running it from SVN.
It also still has the problem that individual objects within the file
could have unknown version numbers even though the file version number
is known.  I'll finish it up and check it into StandAlone/utils.
