I installed SCIRun just fine on Mandrake 10.1...the docs on the site should probably be updated. I would use i586 10.1 if you have a x86 PC. PPC Is for Mac's mostly.

The only word confusing me is "PPC". Is it ok for SCIRun?

Another choice is
The Version: 10.0 Official
Download: i586    Release 204-05-24

I feel better about "i586". It sounds familiar. But I am not sure if SCIRun
can accept Linux Mandrake 10.x or not?
