[SCIRUN-USERS] interpolation

Hi,

I am trying to interpolate a potential field, from data measured from 83
electrodes in a section of cardiac tissue, onto  a mesh with about 10201 
nodes.

I prepared a ".pts" file containing the electrode positions, then use the 
"TextToPointClouldField" converter. And for the 83 potential
measurements, I used the converter "TextToColumnMatrix".
I then used the "ManageFieldData" module to combine the data. Then with
this combined data, and the mesh, I used the "DirectMapping" module.
But when I displayed the resulting field, it appeared too coarse (a
pattern of squares).
How could I make the interpolation more smoother?
