Hello,

is the Matlab package in SCIRun 1.24.2 working? More specifically, is anybody out there using it on MacOS 10.4.4? I'm unable to get the Matlab engine running and after wading through a million lines of output from ktrace/kdump I think there is something fundamentally wrong with it.

- When I try to start the Matlab engine, I immediately get a bunch of error messages in the block's log that are either self-contradictory or outright wrong.
- ktrace shows that $HOME/SCIRun/services/matlabengine.rc ist stat()ed sucessfully, but no attempt is ever made to read it.
- a directory is successfully created in /tmp.
- after that, the SCIRun process writes out the error messages.
- no attempt is ever made to call matlab.

Any help would be appreciated
