Hi,

I am wondering if there is anyway to import normals to SCIRun. I can make ASCII based .fac and .pts files and a ASCII .mat file which stores normals (whether is node or element based). However, I cannot find a way to associate these stuff together. I know SCIRun has modules to produce node and element based normals already. Yet I still want to know if such association is possible because it does not make sense to calculating lots of similar stuff if theya re already available. It seems that SCIRun has a more restricitve definition for data (which has to be stores in the matrices). Can someone enlighten me a bit?
