Dear SCIRun Users, A "dot release" of SCIRun/BioPSE, version 3.0.2, is now available for download. This dot release contains a number of bug fixes and stability improvements since our 3.0.0 release, as well as a binary distribution for the Windows platform. The Release Notes for 3.0.2 can be found at the top of this page: We have also reviewed and updated our Installation Guide: As always, SCIRun/BioPSE can be downloaded from the main SCIRun software web-page: Please note: the Windows binary distribution is very light weight and easy to use (e.g. it doesn't require a compiler). The principal advantage of this binary version is that it's easy to install and to start using. The primary disadvantage is that we had to disable the dynamic compilation aspects of our software *just for the Windows binary distribution*. (The source distributions for all platforms still have dynamic compilation support and full functionality.) I've included our original SCIRun/BioPSE version 3.0.0 release announcement below, as it highlights the main features of version 3.0. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us email. You can email scirun-users@sci.utah.edu with general SCIRun questions or scirun-develop@sci.utah.edu with any specific SCIRun problems. Sincerely, David Weinstein Technical Manager NIH-NCRR Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing (CIBC) Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute, University of Utah ================================ Begin forwarded message:
