Hello,
We are doing something similar with cardiac tissues and use both Dirichlet
and Neuman boundary conditions to solve FEM's of the torso.

update this
SCIRun does this very well, and this part of the code is being improved with
alot of options for local remeshing (increased density) around electrodes.
The modules required are in the "ModelCreation" portion which is a package
which must be set like "MATLAB and BIOPSE" as an option when building in
cmake/ccmake. As things evolve we hope to make this easier to use and have
some "standarized" nets where you can import segmented images, place
electrodes, solve, and visualize. We are pretty much doing that now, but
things are a bit fragile.
Jeroen Stinstra is the master of this portion of things.

Subject: [SCIRUN-USERS] BioPSE: dipole inputs & FEM boundary conditions
Hello,
As are most new users of SCIrun I am am very imrpessed with the documentation
that is available for the various modules and packages. However, I have some
very basic questions which may/may not have involved solutions. Currently I
am modeling the induced E-field of externally applied magnetic fields (in
brain tissues). My three questions are:
Can SCIrun/BioPSE simulate the induced E-field when given a set of electric
dipoles (i.e. from vector potentials mapping current in a coil)?
Does the dipole (widget) in Chapter 3 of the BioPSE tutorial have to be a
magnetic dipole?
Finally, for BioPSE's FEM modules, are there any specific applications with
Neumann boundary conditions? I remember seeing somewhere that the Dirichlet
B.C.'s are used but Neumann B.C.'s are assumed at the first interface.
Any help regarding these matters will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance!
