Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble running scirun locally, but I can run it remotely!
Remotely I do:
ssh -Y myusername@machine-url and I can launch scirun without any
problem. But when I'm on the actual machine where I installed scirun,
I cannot open it. I get the following error:
[fharhad@vizws05 bin]$ ./scirun
Parsed .scirunrc... /panasas/vida/viz/Farid/SCIRun/src/.scirunrc
Initializing the tcl packages: tcl, tk, Tk_Init() failed. Is the
DISPLAY environment variable set properly?
[fharhad@vizws05 bin]$
I checked the DISPLAY variable and it has :0.0. It's definitely not a
display problem. I'm able to open other applications...
I would like to open scirun on this machine because it has a big
screen space... What can I do to resolve this...
Thank you,
--Farid
