- Subject: [SCIRUN-USERS] Question on loading VFF files in BioImage

Hello,
I'm a grad student in Molecular Biology (at the University of
Utah). I've recently started doing CT scans of some mice using the new
small animal imaging core. I wanted to use BioImage to process my data
but am having trouble opening the .vff files from the Core facility. I
get the following error message:
REMARK: 'C:/SCIRun3.0.2/bin/convert/vff2nrrd
'C:/SCIRun3.0.2/bin/AUBREY/20080313ElastinMouseFenestraCT/Chan_elastin_fenestra_March13_optimal.vff'
'/tmp//Chan_elastin_fenestra_March13_optimal-3760.nhdr'' failed. Read
may not work.
ERROR: Read error on
'/tmp//Chan_elastin_fenestra_March13_optimal-3760.nhdr': [nrrd]
nrrdLoad:
fopen("/tmp//Chan_elastin_fenestra_March13_optimal-3760.nhdr","rb")
failed: No such file or directory
ERROR: Please load a nrrd.
How do I get it to convert to .nhdr properly? What am I missing? The
same file opens fine in GE Healthcare's Microview program, but that
program has less options for manipulation than BioImage. I am running
BioImage in Windows XP.
Thanks,
~Aubrey Chan (acc9@utah.edu)
