Hi Carolina,

Presently, the interface to BioMesh3D is through the command line.  So on Windows, you need to open a terminal window (cmd.exe), and then type something along the lines of

python [path]\BuildMesh.py [path to model config]

Python will need to be in your Windows path.  Thanks,

Bill

Subject: [SCIRUN-USERS] running Biomesh for the first time

Dear Biomesh users,

This is my first attempt with Biomesh and I can't seem to make it work for the Mikey example.

I'm running it under Windows XP. The only way in which I can start it is right-clicking and using "Edit Pythonwin". This opens a window where the argument I have to use is "model_config.py", and I can't use any of the flags (I guess -i would come handy).
While it runs, pyhton opems a new window with "MakeSoloNrrd.py" that I have to force to run with F11, that is, step by step (I haven't found any other way).
While (still...) pressing F11 I get to the "Queue.py" subroutine, to the "self.not_full.aquire()" line where the code gets stuck.
There's nothing in the Output directory at this point.

Wonder if you've ever seen this problems before... I'm getting desperate here, so, any kind of help will be most welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers,
Carolina
