Hi Luis,

I built SCIRun 4.4 from the tar archive on our download site on a fairly 
basic Ubuntu 10.10 installation (VirtualBox guest OS to be specific), and I 
can run SCIRun without any problems. I didn't find any significant 
differences between your CMakeCache and my build.

What graphics card are you using, and what's your glxinfo?
