Hello Michael,
                    I was trying volume rendering on a 215MB .vff file
and I couldn't see anything in the transfer function window, it was
completely blank. Also, as soon as I pressed New Triangle tab, Seg3D
crashed. I got following errors corresponding to that :

 2D widget colors will not be drawn
