Hi,
It looks like Emotion Studios will be filming at the SCI Institute on August 5 or 6, so getting Chems and Nathan images/videos prior to August 5 would be great!
Thanks!

Chris has been asked to be interviewed as a part of this Documentary and they are seeking quality visualizations that contribute to the successes and importance of GPU computing. The production company is "emotion studios" out of California, and they have done significant work for corporate clientele such as Adobe as well as pieces with the Sundance Film Festival. Any assistance from the group is greatly appreciated. We're working on a full-length documentary movie centered around scientific computing, highlighting the significance of simulation in research to bring about real-life success stories. Our goal in this research phase is to find stories with "happy endings" in that they have significant, and tangible results or promise of such. Our focus for this larger-scale project hinges on blending engaging, emotional, human stories with complex technological and scientific information. This project presents a great opportunity for a team to showcase their research and bring the societal importance of computational models to the screen. It's a tall order, but if you know of any individuals/teams/projects that you think might be ideal subjects for this film, please let us know. Our greatest hope is to personify the societal impact of supercomputing and broadcast the diverse benefits of computational modeling and scientific visualization to a wide and diverse audience. Please provide as much detail about the people involved with the data acquisition, sources, visualization, modeling, or simulation software used, background story, and conclusions the scientific community can draw from what we are seeing. Thanks for your support!
