Thanks for your reply. I deleted the source code and checked out the
version from the repository, as you advised.
The compilation succeeded, but when I run the application, I get lots of
DEBUG messages on the terminal, e.g.

I checked the ccmake menu, but I couldn't find any option to switch off
the debug messages.
