Thanks Kris!

Some quick follow up questions:

1) What do you mean by 'world space’?

I mean that the Volume calculation is computed using the spacing information — in other words, the volume takes into consideration both the volume of a voxel and the total number of voxels.

and 2) Does it mean 'voxels' when it says 'pixels’?

Yes, this is the number of voxels in the mask with a nonzero value.

Hi Mike,
If you click on the i button (info) for the mask layer in the layer pane and then press the Calculate button that appears, Seg3D will calculate the volume for you in both pixels and world space.

Hi All,

I am trying to find the volume of one of my mask layers (they are filled tubes, very old animal burrows). if I had a voxel count of each mask layer (which corresponds to a single tube), I think I could easily back-calculate the volume. Is there a way to do this in Seg3D, or a way to do it in another program that I could export the mask into?

Cheers,

Mike
