I appreciate the feedback, Jess. My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. To answer your questions…
Do you experience this with multiple datasets? Yes, but all the data sets came from the same MR scanner around the same time.
Does it occur with any of the example datasets? No, all the example data sets work. No problems.
Does it happed with just the paintbrush, or other tools? Seems like it happens when switching views, regardless of the tool. (We just happen to use the paintbrush tool the most)
Are these all the same hardware, e.g., macbook air? The hardware differs slightly based on year, but everyone uses a Macbook Pro.

Subject: Re: [Seg3D] Mac laptops crash after switching view
Hi Nic,
Thanks for clarifying the versions. So far, I have been unable to replicate this with data that I have. Do you experience this with multiple datasets? Does it occur with any of the example datasets (https://github.com/CIBC-Internal/Seg3DData/archive/v1.0.zip)?
Does it happed with just the paintbrush, or other tools? Are these all the same hardware, e.g., macbook air?
Thank you for the reply last week, Jess. I tracked down everyone’s Seg3d and Mac OS versions:
MacOS 10.15.3, Seg3d 2.5.0
MacOS 10.14.6, Seg3d 2.5.0
MacOS 10.15.6, Seg3d 2.5.0
MacOS 10.15.6, Seg3d 2.5.0
I also had another student switch to a Windows machine over the summer, but he had the same issue in the spring using MacOS 10.15.5 and Seg3d 2.0.0.
Hi Nic,
I don’t think we’ve seen this before. Can you provide the OS and Seg3d versions?
cheers,
Jess
