I've downloaded the source code for version 2.51 of Seg3D2 from GIT. I am
using Ubuntu release 20.4 (focal). I needed to add the option
"CMAKE_CXXLFLAGS=-fPIC" to the build_opts flag (line 192) in the build.sh
script.
It turns out that by default QT libraries are build as shared objects in
Ubuntu.
