Hi Ian,

We've recently updated the client so that anyone can download it and run it locally:
http://www.sci.utah.edu/download/shapeworksclient/

If you follow the instructions in the pdf file carefully, you'll see how to run the client and server locally and interact with the shapeworks code.  This way, we won't need to give you an account on our server.
