Brecca,

If groups are not specified, the samples are divided into two groups, first half and second half.  I believe this is just to have some default values that result in two valid groups.

Thanks,

Alan

Hello,

In the ‘File à Export PCA Loadings’ option within ShapeWorks, how are the individual samples grouped? I currently am working with one group, with 75 total samples. However, in the loading file that is exported (attached), 37 samples are flagged as ‘Group 1’ and 38 samples are flagged as ‘Group 2’. However, in the setup files, all samples are input as one group, with no designation to separate groups. Does each row in this follow correspond to the sample number in order of input? I need to ensure how the loading factors indicated per sample.

Thank you in advance for your help.
