Hi Ben,

For the problem with Studio, this error almost always means that the file is missing.  Does this file exist in the relative path to the xlsx location?  All paths are relative to the location of the spreadsheet.

For the 2nd problem, I'm not sure.  I would try comparing a distance transform for a given shape from the previous release and 6.0, perhaps something has changed.  The python scripts tend to evolve with the ShapeWorks releases.  I don't know that we can guarantee that old scripts will produce the same results with newer versions of ShapeWorks.  It would be good for us to understand what's going on though as many people will likely encounter this.

Thanks,
Alan

Hi Everyone,
I recently ran into a problem with ShapeWorks after updating to version 6.0.  When I try to open the RV project spreadsheet with the groups, and the particle files and distance transforms (the same one I sent to Krithika) I get an error (shown in the attached screenshot).  ShapeWorks studio then appears to try and load the files, then crashes before anything is displayed.  Any suggestions on how to open the old project file?

I also tried running my script with 6.0 (I made sure to make a copy of the original particle files and distance transforms first) but I don't get the same results I was getting previously even though I am using the same parameters.  The correspondence seems all off and the particles are jumping from one side of the shape to the other, causing large dents when I go to reconstruct the shapes.  Any help or advice you could provide on these problems would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Ben
