Dear Florianne,

Thanks for reaching out. We are glad to see ShapeWorks helping with your research project. We are currently working on adding this feature to ShapeWorks and expose it through ShapeWorksStudio. We are considering the case where the user would provide some sparse landmarks to reconstruct the full shape based on the shape model. Would it be possible to share a minimal data example for your use case? This would inform our development efforts in exposing this feature through Studio.

Regards
Shireen

Dear madam/sir,

I hope this email finds you well. I am a student at UMC Utrecht and I am currently using Shapeworks for my research project. I am reaching out to you because I have some questions about Shapeworks.

I am making a SSM of the humerus. The next step is to fit the SSM on a model to predict/fit the complete anatomy of humeri that have a fracture. So, I will fit the part of the humerus that is still intact on the SSM to determine the original anatomy of the other half of the humerus. I wonder if this is easy to do in Shapeworks Studio. Is it necessary to use the DeepSSM function for this? Or can the SSM be exported to fit the model on a different software? How many coding skills do you need for this?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance in this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Florianne van Schaardenburgh
