The amount of RAM and the video card on the system are really
orthogonal components, at least from ImageVis3D's point of view.  That
said, in both cases 'more is better'.

These days I'm using an nvidia gtx 280.  If I was in the market for a
new system, I'd probably go with a gtx 285.  Anything in that class is
going to give you great performance though.
