depends on how you define "current" :-)
The scripting functionality in ImageVis3D before 3.0 is deprecated and
superseeded by LUA. As a matter of fact the old scripting is it's already
absent in version 3.0. In version 3.0 (the current stable version) we already
converted about 95 % of imagevis3d's features to LUA and you can already use
those 95%. But it's recommended/documented as we maz rename one or the other
feature for 3.1. In addition for 3.1 we will do the remaining 5 % and then
ship a manual for the new language.
