Hi Russel,

I think I know what the problem is, I'll fix it in the next release. For now the workaround will be do explicitly type the file extension as part of the filename. So what you do is, you load your dataset, choose "Export Image Stack" and then in the "File Name" field type hand.png. You don't have to set the filetype. Then hit "save", does that work?
