Dear users and developers,

I’m a newbie of ImageVis3D and a Linux user with less-than-average expertise.

I need to install ImageVis3D on CentOS 6.3, which is a Debian-based distribution mainly using YUM as the package manager, even though RPM is also available.

I’m wondering whether someone knows of APT-like ImageVis3D packages to be directly installed with YUM.

The latest binary version of ImageVis3D does not work on CentOS 6.3 due to problems of dependencies with the glibc library.

Before going for the hard process of compiling the source code, I would try a pre-packaged version, if available.

I also have a very trivial question: is there any way to query the ImageVis3D mailing list ? I could not find any way for doing so on the Web.
