There are a plethora of Linux distros out there and we can't support
them all. CentOS in particular makes things difficult for developers.
I agree that looking for a binary first is a good idea, but in this
case I think you're stuck building it yourself. Sorry.
Make sure you use gcc 4.6+ (I'm letting you know in advance because the
default package on CentOS is likely to be out of date).
