James,

The command line I used is:

./bin/manta -np 2
Which bring up the sphere.
Pressing escape or q causes the problem to ocurr.

I'm having difficulty getting subversion functioning so it'll be a while before I can download a newer version.

I recently fixed something in the pipeline with regards to what looks 
like this issue.  Please update and see if you still have problems.

Also, please send the command line that reproduces the bug if possible.

Double check your repository to make sure that you don't have any 
local modifications that could be causing problems.
