yes I'll second what James said, I don't work with Manta anymore either. They have gotten very impressive results, see the siggraph demo. The one downside (aside from it not being released yet) to OptiX though is that it won't run on the CPU and requires a pricey quadro card. If that isn't an issue though you'll find more support and a faster implementation from NVIDIA than you will from Manta.
