- Subject: [SCIRUN-USERS] blas library on Mac OSX?

Hi --
I'm new to the list, so I hope that this is an
appropriate question.
I'm trying to install the latest SCIRun and I'm
getting this error:
checking for optional blas library... not found
checking for optional fblas library... not found
configure: error: Test for required BLAS failed.
To see the failed compile information, look in
config.log,
search for BLAS. Please install the relevant
libraries
or specify the correct paths and try to configure
again.
It's a little confusing because it claims that the
libraries are optional and then won't proceed. I
looked on my machine and I don't have anything
remotely like a blas library. What is it, do I need
it, and how do I get it?
Thanks,
Sarah
