Hi,
I have attempted to configure a build of SCIRun as follows:
../src/configure --without-hdf5
--with-thirdparty=/usr/local/SCIRun/Thirdparty/1.22/Linux/gcc-3.3.1-64bit
--enable-package="BioPSE Teem VS" --no-create --no-recursion
--with-X11_lib=/usr/X11R6/lib64 --enable-64bit --without-mdsplus
And yet, the configure script fails as follows:
checking for mdslib library and headers (optional)...
configure: WARNING: The path given no/lib is not a valid directory...
ignoring.
not found
configure: error: One or more of the MDSPLUS components is missing.
Is it possible to build SCIRun without the DataIO and MDSPlus packages?
Failing that, I am having difficulty configuring SCIRun to use
mdsplus-1.1 compiled for x86_64
(Opteron) -- and can't find a newer source distribution of MDSPlus.
Thanks,
