I tried running scirun after installing it from the tar (mac os x 10.3) and got the following:

williams-Computer:/usr/local/SCIRun/bin william$ ./SCIRun
Forcing load of Core/Datatypes (for Macintosh)
Loading services, please wait...
Initializing the tcl packages: tcl, tk, Tk_Init() failed. Is the DISPLAY environment variable set properly?

how to fix?
