Hi,
While we have not tested every linux version, I am very confident
that the SCIRun source distribution will compile and run on Mandrake
9.x. (We have specifically tested RedHat 9.x.) You can download the
source distribution at the same place you get the RPMs. Note, you
will also have to grab the SCIRun Thirdparty and install it. The
thirdparty can also be downloaded at the same location. Please let me
know if you have any problems configuring, compiling, and/or running
SCIRun on these platforms. As you state above, you do not need to
have root access to install from source.
