Dear Carlos (et al),

   Currently SCIRun PowerApps are coded by hand, based (as you note)
on SCIRun module networks that implement some functionality.  What
happens is a trained developer creates a custom GUI for the PowerApp
and then binds a limited subset of the GUI elements from the SCIRun
network into the PowerApp, sometimes changing the names/labels on the
GUI element to make it more clear what its function is in this
particular application.  

   Our NCRR center has proposed and plans to create a PowerApp
creation tool in the future, but work on this has not yet started and
we have not yet chosen a (or even an initial) date for completion.  As
it stands now, we have several developers how have a good feel for
creating PowerApps.  In conjuction with scientific leads, they work
together to create a user friendly final product.  We sould be happy
to send you pointers on this process if you would like to describe to
us the type of PowerApp you are envisioning.

  In regards to your final question, the SCIRun-Users mailing list is
archived through the majordomo mailing list system.  Unfortunately
this is not as easy or straightforward as it might be, but you can
grab the digests in the following way... Send mail to
majordomo@sci.utah.edu.  In the body of your message put:

index scirun-users

This will return a list of available files (listed with year and month
as in YYMM).  To get any one of these digests, you can send mail to
majordomo@sci.utah.edu with:

get scirun-users filename

in the body of the message.  I will speak with the NCRR management
team about creating a better method of accessing this information.
