Hi Eduardo,

The additional matrix ports allow to add additional variables to the equation. The matrix needs to be a 1x1 or an Nx1 matrix where N is the number nodes or elements in the mesh. You can have up to 23 additional matrix inputs. They are called A .. W (X,Y,Z are reserved for the position of the data).

The reason for having additional ports is that this is the first step in allowing some more parameters to be scripted in SCIRun in the dataflow environment. In the next release more will follow.
