"our stereo" is a bit overstated. We simply use OpenGL to achieve
stereo. We render left and right eye scenes to GL_BACK_LEFT, and
GL_BACK_RIGHT if the user selects stereo. (which can be done, once an
stereo capable context is available)
The rest is up to the driver and the graphics card.
We regularly use shutter glasses stereo, so I guess I am preconditioned
to think in those terms :)
