Taotao,

First, make sure you have the necessary packages installed:
http://software.sci.utah.edu/SCIRunDocs/index.php/Ubuntu_Prerequisites_(Packages_to_Install)

Second, check out the wiki page on installing SCIRun on Ubuntu:
http://software.sci.utah.edu/SCIRunDocs/index.php/CIBC:Documentation:SCIRun:Installation:Unix-v3.0.2

If you have trouble with step two, you can look at my user page on the
wiki, which outlines the way I installed it successfully from source on
Kubuntu:
http://software.sci.utah.edu/SCIRunDocs/index.php/User:Ian#Notes_re:_2007-09-16_Building_SCIRun_on_Kubuntu

The latter is an example only, which is sometimes helpful to
cross-reference with the official instructions. Hope that helps.
