Hi,

I have been doing some work with Seg3D, and one of the things I have found useful is to save data or segmentation volumes to Matlab format, and then load the scirunnrrd struct in Matlab and work with it.

As a consequence, I have started developing some Matlab functions in project Gerardus. This is early work, but maybe somebody is interested.

The functions available so far do things like squeeze the dummy dimension, intersect a volume by a plane, convert indices to real world coordinates, rotate a segmentation to make it vertical...

The code is released under the GPL v3, and can be found here

http://code.google.com/p/gerardus/source/browse/#svn/trunk/matlab

Best regards,

Ramon.
