I am not sure that I am clear on what you are trying to do, but it sounds
like you are clipping a FE mesh based on data located at the nodes. This can
be tricky because in a FE mesh you often times cannot simply remove one node,
you have to remove the whole element or nothing at all. So to avoid this you
could convert your mesh to a point cloud (ConvertMeshtoPointCloud) and then
clip the mesh based on the data. This should give you the right number of
nodes, but it will no longer be on a FE mesh.
