Hi Sumientra,

If you are visualizing tensors with colormap lookup, the tensor eigenvalues are used to generate the colormap index. Do you want me to go into more details about the code behind this?

The attached figure shows on the left: RGB Conversion (according to the help
file these are the principal eigenvectors), in the middle: Colormap Lookup,
and on the right: Colormap Lookup with scaling via RescaleColorMap. The
min/max from RescaleColorMap (see colorbar on right figure) are the min/max
isotropic conductivities in the data set, but this is not what
ShowFieldGlyphs displays. For example, the max value from RescaleColorMap is
1.8, but via rescaling with Fixed Scale we found that the red tensors in the
figure have a value of around 3.

using this module as well to visualize vectors with different colors
dependent on some other values. I think can help you.
