You’ve found some very out-of-date documentation there. We’re in the process of updating all of our various websites, so this might happen for the time being.
SCIRun version 5, which is what you built, has an executable named SCIRun. So since Linux is case sensitive, “./scirun” didn’t work. The second link you found is for version 4. Try “./SCIRun” and you should be successful.
I will get our web people to remove the old user guide, since it’s now quite inaccurate. Thanks,Dan

Hi,
I am new to Linux and I was trying to install SciRun 5 as mentioned in the following link
After successfully running the commands, I tried to run SciRun using the scirun command as described in the following links
However, I received the following error "./scirun: No such file or directory". I have also tried using scirun alone or changing the directory path but didn't work. Am I missing something? I am not sure what should I do after the steps discussed on the first link I provided. Is there a good tutorial on that?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Ahmad
